Names, email addresses and US-format phone numbers. Detection is automatic but not perfect — it can miss a name or flag something that isn't one — so review the list before you save.
Yes. Every page with a redaction is saved as an image, so the covered text is gone from the file and can't be selected, copied or recovered. Pages without redactions keep their original, selectable text.
PDFs that contain selectable text. Scanned PDFs and images have no text layer for it to read, so they aren't supported.
